A lot of general submissions for lit mags are closed for the summer, so with the Submission Sunday Summer Support Group in mind, I thought I’d reshare this collection of year-round opportunities (with some updates from last time!).

I wanted to put together a post for paid subscribers that you can refer back to whenever you feel like submitting but don’t feel like checking deadlines. Below you’ll find a fairly extensive list of the venues previously featured in Submission Sunday that are open year-round or currently are open without a deadline. I only included calls for short-form work (no manuscripts) at this time. The list is alphabetical, so coincidentally, it’s top heavy with nonfiction pitches, but there’s something for everyone if you keep scrolling. Good luck!
